'TO DO' List:

Thursday status: 

•  Invitations will go in the mail on Tues., Oct. 9.

• Need to finalize tables and decoration plans
• Line up MC and other presenters.  So far, Roger, Chris Guidera and Patty are confirmed.
• Have sign-up sheets available for Friday tours
• "Fancy Dancing" video? - Chris J has begun working on this.
• Determine source and number of tables
• Equipment beyond microphone & C.O.W.?

Friday status:

• Shelly has agreed to coordinate students for building tours
• Pre-registration out in Star News Monday, Oct. 8
• Padding for gym floor procured (June)
• Volunteers recruited - Lara Martella said she is ready with drink sales

Saturday status:

• Pre-registration up on-line now - thanks to long hours of work by James Specht
• Travel arranged - (thanks to Tammy Specht & Lynne Allen) - need to create itinerary for weekend
• Brochures printed.  Will be distributed on an ongoing basis.
• PR campaign in Denver area launched Mon., Oct  8, thanks to the tireless assistance of Glenn Greenwood, Greenwood Communications, Austin, TX
• Stewart has begun contacting alums - any assistance with this is welcome.  Send him or me an e-mail.
• Credit hours for educators ok'd - just need sign up sheet with names and address, in order to be sent a certificate of participation. (Volunteer to handle this needed)
• Vendors - confirmations from Denver Metro Association for Gifted, ALPS Publishing, and CITY (DU G/T)  who will send people and/or books and information; Great Potential Press and Open Space Communications will send brochures and catalogs.  Kristen will find volunteers to run tables.  Plan to contact School of Mines for summer program and Prufrock Press week of 10/8
• Arrange for food (Box lunches from Udi's) and coffee (Probably Absolatte - includes pastries) - call in numbers o/a 10/17
• Arrange for coffee and cookies on Saturday afternoon.
• Shelly has agreed to handle the podcast of keynotes (Help needed?)
• Arrange for tables for all areas (Stargate?  Rental? Both?)

General:
